 After watching the ending once more and analyzing it, I am amazed by the cinematography that Wally Pfister produced in Christopher Nolan's Inception. He uses a variety of shots and angles to deepen the meaning of the story.  In the order of how the scene goes, the first shot is an extreme close-up of Mr. Cobb. This contributes to the story because, paired with the confusion and emotion in his eyes, it shows how surprised he is to be awake, as if it were a miracle. Both Cobb and Saito were in the final level of the dream world, or limbo, for many years, both physically becoming old. Waking up in the real world just hours after they started dreaming was unexpected and took them a second to realize what was going on. The camera does a dolly effect to shift the focus to the rest of the people around him. The camera pans to show the different characters to share their reactions to him being awake. Victoria and I have worked hard to come to this point and I am happy to say that I am proud of what we have produced. However, this project was not only about the result, but also the experience and knowledge we've gained along the way. I have learned that sometimes, your results won't always look exactly like your initial visions. There were times where we had to improvise. An example of this would be when Victoria's brother was not feeling well around the same time that we needed to film. So, instead of me being in Victoria's room for the scenes, we edited and layered them so that the shadowy figure would be there but not at full opacity. If I am being honest, I think it turned out better this way despite the process of layering my hand over her head being complicated. It all worked out in the end!  I also learned that not every scene you film will be used in the final product. You may be aware that my friend Victoria and I are producing a music video for the song "In the Room Where You Sleep" by Dead Man's Bones. Here's our progress so far! Although we haven't been able to meet up at her house yet, we started the filming of our individual scenes!  The scene that I filmed solo was in my room and on my bed. The shot only shows my shoulders and up and I take up majority of the frame. I am slightly off center and looking away from the camera, letting my eyes wander around the room while Victoria and I are on the phone. The scene, put together, will flip back and forth, showing each of us. The scenes were filmed all at once but will be cut and edited in between each line to show the current speaker of the conversation. A complication I had when recording, however, was the lighting in my room. Also, at times it randomly flickers, but thankfully it didn’t during this video.   The song that I chose for my music video production is "In the Room Where You Sleep" by Dead Man's Bones. My plans for shooting the video are to first decide on the costumes and sets. The costumes of the protagonist girl, or Victoria, will be  pajamas  in a couple scenes and   casual clothes  in the others. The costume of the antagonist, me, will be all black and creepy some scenes and casual in the others. The sets will be two different bedrooms where a scene repeats when the song starts to say "I saw something sitting on your bed." The other sets will be a piano with a bright red light and outside at night. The piano is at my house and the scenes outside will be by my house.  Hello! My name is Delaney. I love Batman and video games ESPECIALLY Lego Batman. My favorite actor for Batman is Christian Bale and my favorite movie director (in general) is Christopher Nolan, who also happens to direct the Dark Knight Trilogy with starring actor Christian Bale.  My favorite ways to consume media are through YouTube and Netflix. YouTube allows me to watch almost anything, but I mainly like to watch comedic videos of people playing games that I also enjoy playing. YouTube is my favorite because of the idea of watching people who are just like me do the things that I enjoy most, which makes me feel included and entertained without actually playing a game. Netflix is also one of my favorites because instead of having to be specific in my search like YouTube requires, I can scroll through a specific category such as new, romance, comedic and more. This allows me to watch some of my favorite shows like Supernatural and NCIS. The best part is, when you finish, Net...
