My film pitch of "The Man of Her Dreams"
My own movie, "The Man of Her Dreams," is in production, as I have pitched it to Warner Brothers to help.
This company is a good fit for The Man of Her Dreams because Warner Bros. is known for the great use of sound, which my movie will include. They also "put creators, consumers and partners at the center, and share extraordinary stories. Tell stories that entertain and inspire our viewers, communities, and each other." They endorse being curious, innovative, and focusing on the future. With my entertaining mystery, I feel I can please them by accomplishing these goals.
Inception did very well, grossing over $837 million, being in 4th place for films in 2010 in terms of money made.
In the movie Barbie, stereotypical Barbie is living a perfect happy life until she discovers the horrors of the real world and how women are treated. This theme of powerful women being interpreted as inferior to men and unworthy is similar to the theme of "The Man of Her Dreams," as the main character, a girl, (without spoiling) is treated differently by her male coworkers and other men. She has a stronger relationship with the women around her, just like in the Barbie movie.
This movie, only coming out in summer of 2023, has earned over $1.45 billion worldwide, becoming the biggest film to be directed by a woman.
I am confident in my film to become successful, but as a fan of both of these movies, I would be more than honored to have the opportunity to produce a film by the same big companies.
